- A propos of my imminent departure, some encouraging words from my boss...
- ... and from a former client, an offer of a small but very interesting short term contract later in the year.
- In the dusk, by the school gate, Jack and a small pigtailed figure who squeals with delight when she sees me, and starts sprinting up the path as fast as her little legs will carry her.
- At the fish and chips evening at Jville school I chat to Amanda, whom I thought I'd only met online but had actually run into in the Real World™ when she dropped her daughter off at Becca's birthday party. Another Welcome To Wellington moment!
