- Aunty C comes around with a present and birthday cupcakes for R. We leave a couple for Jack, but when I go into the kitchen to put them away, I find that Maggie has sneaked in and carefully removed the M&Ms from the tops. (At least, I assume it was Maggie.)
- A joyful, energetic gig at Bodega, sharing a bill with the young and talented Oy Azoy. Our awesome clarinetist Urs is back, and it's a treat to tag team with him on Heyser Bulgar. And to see him from the audience jamming with Oy Azoy during their set.
- Getting to meet and have a cuddle of Urs and Em's new baby Piriniki.
